This artwork deals with the question of choice as an act that traces the path of our lives. Entering the space, the visitor faces the task to choose one of the two ambiguous symbols which simultaneously represent the basic elements of life and creation (energy and matter, sun and earth, fire and water…), also the two forms of human cognition, rational and intuitive. This small act of introspection reminds him to observe, not only the nature that surrounds him, but also the nature of his inner being.
The need for materialization of these issues in a form of performance, occurred, after one my visit to the prehistoric, megalithic, solar observatory Kokino, on a day of spring equinox. It is a place that has the power to take you millennia back in ancient times when the man's existence depended on the nature in great extent, so he involved a lot of his energy to understand it, carefully observing the changes. Through his ritualse man tried to please nature and establish a harmonious relationship with it.
